Lessons

Board, suit and boots are in the price. Bring a towel and something warm for afterwards.

The practical bit

What to bring

A towel, something warm, and a swimming costume to go under the wetsuit. That is all. We have suits from age six upwards and boots in every size.

Is it cold?

Between nine and eighteen degrees depending on the month. In a 5/4 suit with boots you will be warm for two hours in February. The car park afterwards is the cold part.

Do I need to swim?

You need to be comfortable out of your depth. You do not need to be fast, and you will spend most of a first lesson standing in waist-deep water.

What if the sea is flat?

We move you, free, to any day in the next twelve months. We would rather do that than teach you in something that is not worth teaching in.
