Transition-piece internals, 14 off

Fourteen sets of internal platforms, ladders and cable trays for monopile transition pieces, delivered on a nine-week drumbeat against a fixed vessel window.

Each set is 6.2 t of galvanised steel with 240 welded joints, every one MPI'd. The critical constraint was not fabrication, it was the paint queue, so the last four sets were nested to release the blast bay a week early.

All fourteen shipped inside the window. Two arrived ahead of it.
