What is actually on the shelves
About four thousand titles, weighted heavily towards small press and translated European work, because that is what we like and there is a Forbidden Planet ten minutes away for everything else.
We do not stock trading cards, funko or slabbed books. Nothing against them. There is only so much wall.
Things worth knowing
The fifty-pence box
Everything in it is fifty pence and it is restocked every Friday morning. We do not price-check it against eBay and we would rather you did not either.
Reading is fine
Sit on the floor if you like. If you finish it and put it back we would rather that than you buying something you did not want.
The dog
Her name is Biscuit and she belongs to the barber two doors down. She is allowed on the beanbag and nowhere else.
Card, cash, either
No minimum on card. The machine is old and sometimes needs a second go, which is not you.
